Warming up the engines for the debut, Godzilla and Kong: New Empire received a new Chinese trailer that provided more plot details and revealed the return of a familiar kaiju, the Japanese term for giant monsters. According to the preview, Mothra, from Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019), is back!
Godzilla and Kong: New Empire promises not only to unite the famous kaijus, but also to explore the origins of the titans and the mysteries of Skull Island.
In the new sequence, the two monsters unite to face a colossal threat that will put all of humanity at risk: it will be the debut of the evil Skar King, a giant orangutan from the so-called Monsterverse (understand more about the universe here).

New Empire it is a continuation of Godzilla vs. Kong (2021). According to director Wingard, the inspiration for the relationship between the two titans was based on crime comedies of the 80s and 90s, such as Deadly machine, suggesting that the film might also have a humorous tone. Get it here!
