Rest in peace : an Argentine drama to watch on Netflix

However, Sergio will never be able to go back and will be forced to rebuild himself a new identity abroad. But years later, especially with the creation of Facebook, Sergio will be tempted to find out what happened to his family.
Joaquín Furriel excels in this dark film
If in the first part it has the air of a thriller, Rest in peace swings gently towards drama. That of a man who prefers to sacrifice himself to make up for his mistakes, but whose actions and cowardice will have an impact on his family. The film highlights above all the responsibility that Sergio must assume and questions the possibility of escaping from his problems and his past. To tell this story, director Sebastián Borensztein (El Chino) has opted for a certain sobriety and does not encourage emotions more than is reasonable. The situation is sufficiently tragic and humanly complex, with Sergio inevitably tortured. What emerges is a dark film, very well worn by Joaquín Furriel.
