Red Magic 9 Pro Plus has a new version of Bumblebee with a customized look and a gift kit in the box
The Red Magic 9 Pro Plus just got a version inspired by Bumblebee, a character from the Transformers series. The product received a customized appearance as well as special packaging and gifts.
The initiative repeats what Red Magic has already done with the latest generation of its advanced mobile phones, including with a relatively similar appearance to the 8S Pro Bumblebee edition. However, the new model follows the visual identity of the series, with the rear lenses moved to the left side of the rear panel.
Additionally, the device features Bumblebee’s signature yellow color, as well as the Transformers symbol within a vertical black stripe. Red Magic retained the trademark, however of Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 on the back, reiterating the top-of-the-range character of the mobile phone.
The cell phone comes in a box also painted yellow, with several elements that reference Bumblebee. Freebies that come with the device include a portable fan and an additional protective case, as well as a SIM ejector key and personalized stickers.
Although it has a bolder appearance than the traditional Red Magic 9 Pro, the new mobile phone has no differences in its specifications. The product has already been analyzed by Canaltech, highlighting its performance and screen attributes.
The product will be sold in a version with 512 GB of internal storage via UFS 4.0, although the versions shown at the end of last year also include a 1 TB model. It also comes with 16GB of RAM LPDDR5X, in a performance package that should handle any app from the Google Play Store.
The Red Magic 9 Pro also features some extra details designed for gamers, such as the presence of side triggers to offer extra control options in games. With a response speed of 520 Hz, they can still be useful in titles that require a lot of agility in movement.
The new smartphone was announced in the Chinese market and no sales are planned in other countries. Its official price is 6,499 yuan, equivalent to approximately R$ 4,514 in direct conversion.
