Chance Perdomo, one of the lead actors of Gen V, tragically passed away this Saturday, March 30th in a motorcycle accident. The 27-year-old actor, who starred in The New Adventures of Sabrina and After: Chapter 3 and After: Chapter 4, gained more fame thanks to The Boys spin-off, which he starred in. The cast was due to meet in early April for the first collective reading of the scripts ahead of filming scheduled to begin on April 8 in Toronto. After Chance Perdomo’s death, production on Gen V season 2 has apparently been delayed.
According to Deadline, filming has been postponed indefinitely. The writers and producers of Gen V will be faced with a dilemma regarding the continuation of the series: Should we hire a new actor to replace Chance Pedromo and play Andre Anderson or should the character disappear in season 2?
Whatever the decision, it won’t be easy for the Gen V teams. But for now, it’s time to think and mourn for the actor’s relatives and colleagues.
