There are rumors that Sam Raimi would return to direct Andrew Garfield in a fourth Spider-Man film; information has not been officially confirmed
Responsible for directing the three films of Spider man starring Tobey Maguire, Sam Raimi is at the center of rumors that say the franchise would get a fourth film, with the actor returning in the lead role. Now, the filmmaker has answered whether these speculations are real.
During an interview with CBR while participating in the WonderCon, Raimi commented how he read about these rumors, but received no official proposal or conversation from Marvelor Columbia Pictures.
“Well, I haven’t heard of that yet. I read that, but I’m not working on it yet. I mean, the Marvel and the columbia have so much success with current films from Spider man and with the track there, and I don’t know if they’re going to come back to me and say, ‘Well, guys, I can tell that story too!’ I’m not sure, but I love all the new movies Spider man,” he stated.
I loved Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021). It was really powerful to see Tobey [Maguire] again in it.
