Madame Teia, from the Spider-Man universe, debuts on digital platforms

The film stars Dakota Johnson (Fifty Shades of Grey), Sydney Sweeney (Euphoria) and Emma Roberts (American Horror Story)

Madame Teia, the most recent film in Sony Pictures’ Spider-Man Universe, is now available on digital platforms, after a disappointing run in theaters. The film grossed less than US$100 million (R$507 million at current prices) worldwide, an even bigger failure than Morbiusfrom 2022, which ended its run in theaters with US$167 million.

The novelty arrives on streaming services almost two months after its debut in cinemas and, for now, it is only available for purchase and rental on platforms such as Apple TV (iTunes), Prime Video, Claro TV+, Google Play, Microsoft Films & TV ( Xbox) and Vivo Play.

In the new Spider-Man Universe film, Dakota Johnson (Fifty Shades of grey) interprets Cassandra Webb, a paramedic in Manhattan, who begins to experience clairvoyance, that is, she begins to have visions. Forced to confront her past, she ends up reuniting with three young people, who are destined for incredible futures if they can survive the threats of an even more powerful villain.

In addition to Johnson, Madame Teia still has Sydney Sweeney (Euphoria), Isabella Merced (Transformers: The Last Knight), Celeste O’Connor (Freaky – In the Body of a Killer), who represent different versions of Spider-Women.
