Apple TV + has released the teaser for season 3 of “See”, which has been announced as “the final chapter” of the production. The preview reveals scenes of epic combat between rival factions and brothers played by Jason Momoa (Aquaman) and Dave Bautista (Drax from “Guardians of the Galaxy”).
Introduced last season, the character of Bautista is the great rival of the character of Momoa in the struggle for the fate of a world where humanity has lost the ability to see.
The plot takes place several years into the future, when everyone has gotten used to being blind. However, this balance is broken when the protagonist’s children are born with normal eyesight and begin to be challenged as weapons capable of guaranteeing world domination.
The series is the brainchild of British screenwriter Steven Knight (creator of “Peaky Blinders”) and its episodes are directed by director Francis Lawrence (“The Hunger Games: Catching Fire”), Anders Engström (“Taboo”) and Stephen Surjik (“Lost in Space”), among other directors.
The cast includes Alfre Woodard (“Luke Cage”), Hera Hilmar (“Mortal Engines”), Sylvia Hoeks (“Blade Runner 2049”), Christian Carmago (“Dexter”) and, in the new season, also Eden Epstein (“Sweetbitter “), Tom Mison (” Sleepy Hollow “), Hoon Lee (” Warrior “), Olivia Cheng (” Warrior “), David Hewlett (” The Shape of Water “) and Tamara Tunie (” Flight “).
The third season will debut on August 26, exactly one year after the premiere of the previous season.
Momoa, among other things, will continue at Apple with a new epic production: “Chief of War”, a miniseries made by him in collaboration with Thomas Pa’a Sibbett (screenwriter of “Danger on the Mountain”), which aims to address the unification and colonization of Hawaii from the point of view of the native peoples of the region.
