Dinamo Zagreb used creativity to try to ‘seduce’ the Real Madrid star

The midfielder Luca Modric38 years old, he is in the last months of his contract with real Madrid and still does not have a renewal agreement. Creatively, Dinamo Zagreb bought an entire page in the Saturday edition of the Spanish newspaper Brand, in which he tried to convince the midfielder to return home. The image shows the Balkan club’s shirt with the player’s name printed on it and a hashtag that says “he makes all the sense in the world” on the footer.

“This action reflects a creative initiative by Velimir Zajec, who recently took over the presidency of Dinamo and demonstrates his desire to innovate and strengthen the image of the prestigious Croatian club,” he underlined Brand. The club also published the newspaper page on social media (watch the video above).

The Croatian began his professional career at Dinamo Zagreb at the age of 16, moving to Tottenham in 2008 for just over €20 million. Four years later, he was sold for 35 million euros to Real Madrid, where he won numerous titles together with Cristiano Ronaldo, Benzema and Vini Jr. The athlete’s contract with the Madrid team will last until the end of June.

Modric’s next match is scheduled for Tuesday 9th at 4pm (Brasilia time), when Real Madrid will face Manchester City at the Santiago Bernabéu, in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals. In the last edition of the continental tournament, the Merengues were eliminated by the Citizens in the semi-finals.
