With over 330 episodes, The Walking Dead franchise is now one of the most prolific on American television. It all started in 2010, with the launch of a horror series based on the comic of the same name by Robert Kirkman; After eleven seasons of good and loyal service, the program ended in December 2022 to make way for several spin-offs.
Which TV series should you watch?
Since then, three new series have seen the light of day: Dead City, Daryl Dixon and most recently The Ones Who Live, a mini-series that reunites Rick Grimes and Michonne. Thus bringing the total number of horror-derived series to seven, counting the main series. But of course, it is not necessary to watch all these series.
For example, Fear the Walking Dead, after the first spin-off aired alongside the first series. Although there are plot connections between the two programs, it’s not necessary to watch the two series, which are designed to be watched independently.

So many questions are answered by the flashback scenes, but which cannot replace eleven seasons of intrigue and narrative development.
