It All Begins Here: What’s in store for Episode 900 on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 [SPOILERS]

On Tuesday, April 9, everything starts here…

Jeremy returns to the Institute…and he’s not alone!

After leaving Mehdi, Hortense took refuge in her sister’s room, where she ended up spending the night. Once up, Hortense is about to join Anthony, who has suggested they go for a walk. While Vicky believes she should fight for her marriage, Hortense is convinced her father was right about her love life.

In the studio, Mehdi had Chef Listrak taste one of his creations to get his feedback before presenting it to Chef Mayer as part of the Masters. His project tutor advises him to work harder on his trump card. A little later, Vicky comes to see Mehdi to encourage him to get Hortense back. But the latter declares that there is nothing to save from their relationship and he should concentrate on his work.

Returning from a walk together, Hortense and Anthony stay for a moment in a car parked in the institute’s parking lot. Enzo sees them in the distance. He notices that Hortense always looks sad and that Anthony continues to insinuate himself into her life. He advises the young woman to avoid work and offers to sleep with him in a hotel. Hortense gets out of the car without a word. Enzo can’t resist the urge to face Anthony. He clearly sees through her little manipulative game with Hortense at her worst and confirms that she has no chance given the strength of the couple she is forming with Mehdi.

On the other hand, Clotilda analyzes the wedding preparations with Joachim and Rose. He’s relieved to see that everything is going perfectly… until his partner reminds him that he’s dreaming of a wedding cake. Clotilda immediately goes to the atelier to warn Hortense about this extra dessert on the menu. The young chef promises to make a proposal by the next day, despite his already very heavy workload.

At the same time, Jeremy arrives at the Institute, much to his mother’s delight. That is, until he finds out that he didn’t come alone. Indeed, Jeremy introduces him to his partner Sabine, as well as his son Elijah. Clotilda coldly greets her son’s lover, noting that she is older than him.

Later, Jeremy finds Vic in the park. He admits that he should have warned his mother sooner, but hopes that she will eventually accept his partner. Mehdi arrives to join them, happy to see his friend again. A few meters away, Hortense finds Anthony. When he notices Mehdi watching them, he mentions Hortense’s father and says that this is what he wanted for them. Then he kisses Hortense under Mehdi’s angry eyes. Hortense suddenly realizes this and freezes…

Judy and Mateo argue

Judy and Mateo go to the studio together to eat. If Jude hopes he can be alone with his boyfriend and maybe enjoy some privacy, that’s without taking into account the arrival of Anais, who forgot her notebook. She definitely flirts with Mateo… who reciprocates. Enough to annoy Judy. Anais then asks Mateo to join her Double A brigade for the lunch service, which the latter accepts.

As she walks into the kitchen with Mateo, Judy admits to him that she feels uncomfortable with his flirting with Anais. Mateo thought it was just teasing. Judy tells him what Anais told her the other day: that she was willing to sleep with him, only for him to quit. Judy adds that she described Mateo as a collector of girls. The latter is amused because he has no chance with her. He promises Jude that he will remain professional and not break Anais’ heart.

During the service, Judy and Mateo collaborate on a meal. Involuntarily, hands wrap around each other. They are disturbed. A young girl interrupts them to check the sauce, which sends Mateo into a panic. The latter quickly turns to Anais to hold out her hand, not to flirt a bit.

At the end of the service, Judy criticizes Mateo for playing straight with Anais in a panic. Mateo reminds him that he is not ready to leave. He states that Jude should just leave him if it doesn’t suit him.

Solal becomes obsessive

At the workshop, Chef Leroy worked on a gourmet recipe featuring foie gras for the second year. This displeases Solal, who is still fully committed to his low-fat, sugar-free diet.

When Solal presents his plate to the chef, Leroy immediately notices that he hasn’t tried his instructions. In fact, foie gras is almost absent from his recipe. Solal excuses himself by explaining his desire to offer something healthier. Leroy is upset at this reflection.

After class, Leroy discusses Solal’s behavior with Landira and Gathan. Two chefs discover that she does as she pleases with her healthy cooking stories. It refers to Gaetan, who decides to discuss it with the person concerned.

He finds her in the cafeteria and broaches the subject with her. Solal doesn’t see anything wrong with what he’s offering in class. At the same time, Gaitan sees him writing down his daily calorie intake on his phone. He asks her to look and realizes that Solal is malnourished. If Gaitan believes that she suffers from an eating disorder, Solal replies that she has never felt in better shape. Robbed, he leaves.
