Nubank announced Tuesday that features from its investment application will be rolled into the application used by digital bank account holders, unifying the platforms.
The bank says it has 15 million investor customers and from May 7, users of the investment app will only be able to redeem and make transfers with it as investor features will only be available on the Nubank app.
The bank did not say what percentage of investors use the investing app alone. Those who don’t have the Nubank app will need to open an account. The change applies only to users in Brazil, where Nubank says it has about 90 million customers, including those of the investing app.
As of 2.35pm, Nubank shares in New York were down 1.37%, trading at $11.83.
