The legendary duo Pet Shop Boys announced this Tuesday (9) the release of the documentary In Imagine… Pet Shop Boys: Hen and now for BBC One and iPlayer which will reveal some first demo tapes of songs for the first time on TV, including the classic West End Girls.
OR Pet shop guys is the duo of electronic music AND synthpop most successful in the history of music, with more than 50 million records sold worldwide with 40 singles entered the UK TOP 40Furthermore four tracks which reached the top in the British region.
The documentary will celebrate the 40 years of career In Neil Tennant AND Chris Lowe who continue to make music today.
At the end of this month, the British duo will release a new album which will be produced by James Fordproducer of bands like Arctic monkeys AND Blurwhich will arrive the moment it launches West End Girlsthe debut single of Pet shop guysturns four decades.
In Imagine… Pet Shop Boys: Hen and Time for BBC One and iPlayer get a preview of the album and talk to Tennant AND Lowe about its creation and its evolution in recent years. Along with the interview, the musicians share what the music producer said Price Stuart call “the Holy Grail of pop music”AS original demo tapes and revealing characteristics of the duo.
Now, for the first time, the Pet shop guys allowed access behind the scenes, as will be seen in the documentary, where the audiovisual production team accompanies them on their tour Dreamlandevidence of filming in the cities of London AND Helsinki.
Production collaborators include musicians Brandon Flowers, Jake Shears, Olly Alexander, Marco Mandorlamusic journalist Miranda Sawyer and creative collaborators Stuart Price, James Ford, Es Devlin, Javier De Frutos, Tom Scutt AND Marco Farrow.
