Tomorrow, the fifth installment of the Ghostbusters franchise, The Ice Menace, hits our screens, forty years after the original film by Ivan Reitman, the director who, five years later, in 1989, delivered his sequel, in which he once again assembled the four Ghostbusters. From the previous film, also Sigourney Weaver and also Rick Moranis.
It wasn’t until 2016, an era marked by an ’80s revival, that the public was able to discover Paul Feig’s reboot, with four new heroes, before a new generation of young ghosts took over in 2021’s Ghostbusters: Legacy. Jason Reitman, Ivan’s son, who is exciting in the film.
