Dunst has expressed his willingness to return to the ‘Bring It On’ universe. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight in early April, the now 41-year-old actress said she would consider a sequel to the 2000 film, “as long as” it met one simple condition: “It’s not embarrassing.”
Additionally, he shared his vision of where Torrance’s character could be today: “Educating new generations, maybe.”

Gabrielle Union, who played Isis in the original film, also said she is open to a new installment of the story.
In a separate interview with Business Insider, the 51-year-old actress replied: “Who knows? Maybe we have something to cook, you know?’ to the question of whether they are working on a new installment.
In January 2023, Union discussed the possibility with Variety magazine, explaining that Hollywood production processes can take anywhere from a few minutes to 50 years.
Peyton Reed, director of the original film, has also revealed his interest in such a project with Dunst and Union. In 2020, he told Business Insider that he would “absolutely” do a sequel and had discussed the possibility with screenwriter Jessica Bedinger.
