New information has emerged on the matter Superman, the film that will begin the new phase of the DCU. After much speculation, the DC Studios panel at CinemaCon 2024 ended up showing what the official logo will look like for the film, which is scheduled to premiere in 2025.
I haven’t officially seen the image anywhere, however, the Cinemark profile ended up posting a story featuring the image. A description also states that the design is very similar to the one revealed by director James Gunn in February. But with some differences: it is much brighter and more colorful.

And in the words of Peter Safran (producer of Superman and co-CEO of the studio): “This will be a film that, even without magic, will make you believe in cinema.”
CinemaCon opens the calendar of major pop culture events in the first half of each year. More aimed at professionals than at enthusiasts, the event takes place from 8 to 11 April, in Las Vegas, with a packed programme, always full of news on future projects and ongoing productions — such as Joker 2, Angry, Dead Poolamong others.
What we already know about the film
Name change
It is also worth mentioning that the project has changed its name: it used to be called Superman: Legacy and now that’s enough Superman.

The announcement was made by Gunn himself in the post above, from February 29th. The director and screenwriter declared:
“When I finished the first draft, I called the film Superman: Legacy. But when I finished the final version, it was clear that the title was SUPERMAN. We will come to you in July 2025”Gunn wrote.
