Anais causes jealousy
After confronting the Armand sisters at BleuPré the day before, Teissier accuses Claire of being the one who tipped them off for simple revenge. Indeed, the director was opposed to Lewis’s re-employment at the Institute. But he’s not going to let that happen. He fully intends to convince Rose and Clotilde of the value of his project.
Witnessing the scene, Olivia is shocked that her partner actually took action. He also wonders how he was able to obtain information about BleuPré when the deed of sale has not yet been signed. Claire runs away, claiming she found out about it through a former colleague.
Teissier, on the other hand, goes to his office to talk to Rose and Clotilde. If the latter sees BleuPré as a very risky investment, moreover, far from the image of the institution, Teissier argues that it is a way to innovate and gain a global reputation. Of course, students will be highly motivated by the idea of pursuing a hospitality course. Rose and Clotilda flatly refuse to involve the students in the decision.
Teissier then goes to the grounds of the Institute to ask Bérénieres to spread the rumor about BleuPré’s opening among his comrades. Teissier thinks that with how motivated the students are, Rose and Clotilde will have no choice but to approve his project. Berenia accepts the task. He talks to Carla and Suleiman about it for the first time… and the rumors spread like wildfire.
All the young master chefs at the workshop rave about it. Enzo and Livio are already dreaming of being the chefs of BleuPré gourmet restaurant. Chef Guino, who overhears them, immediately dashes their hopes by revealing that Anais has already been selected by Teissier for the position.
Meanwhile, Clotilda walks in the park with Mark. He would easily realize that it was Teissier talking to students to create excitement about the project when he only thought it was a financial hit. Mark takes the liberty of defending his friend’s idea and pointing out its merits. At the same time, Bill approaches them to get proof of the opening of BleuPré, as he is already ready to apply.
In the cafeteria, Livio and Mehdi catch up with Anais, who overtakes them in line. He is accused of being ahead of everyone – in every sense of the word. They believe that he is not legitimate in obtaining the management of the BleuPré restaurant, given that Mayer did not find it up to the standards of his restaurant in Bordeaux. They are convinced that Teissier is acting out of favoritism and nothing more. The director arrives at that moment and justifies his choice by saying that Anais won the Vattel Prize and ran the Double A. He accuses Livio and Mehdi of being jealous of her talent.
In the park, Rose and Clotilda discuss the situation with Claire. Clotilde admits she has changed her mind about BleuPré. Rose is also tempted by the adventure, especially after seeing the enthusiasm of the students. However, Claire points out that most of the Master’s chefs find it unfair that Anais was automatically chosen to lead the BleuPré restaurant. Indeed, they would all be good candidates for the position.
In the management office, Rose and Clotilde tell Teyssier that they agree to sign the deed of sale for BleuPré on the condition that Anais will not be the head of BleuPré. They want to have a cooking competition with all volunteer chefs for the position and for the winner to legitimately win the position…
Kelly is ready for the Coupe de France
In the park, Kelly, preselected for the Coupe de France de Cuisine, asks Miriel where the event will be held this year. The deputy director doesn’t know anything about it, because in 15 days the senior Delobel himself will announce it.
Either way, Kelly is looking forward to participating with Amber and Malik — the same crew as last year. So Kelly sends Ambre to warn him. She tells him that unfortunately he can’t be her second because the chef at the restaurant where he works has finally given her a break. Kelly then asks Lionel to change her. But the latter doesn’t see himself working with Malik every day given what happened last year.
In the cafeteria, Lionel has second thoughts for his girlfriend. He already has someone in mind: Jasmine. Salome, who hears their conversation, then offers her candidacy. Kelly is excited. He didn’t propose to her because he thought she was too busy.
At the atelier, Kelly and his crew meet Chef Landiras, who will prepare them for the Coupe de France. He wants to perfect their technique and keep them motivated. They start with a bakery review program. The pace seems intense.
Solal joins the lonely club
At CDI, Bill takes advantage of Solal being with David to come over and congratulate him on his progress. He heard great things about the tangerine chicken he made for Chef Leroy. The young girl hopes Solal will stop counting calories the way she saw it. Solal then explains his eating disorder: he explains that he suffers from orthorexia, or an obsession with eating healthy food. But he says he’s starting to improve. David and Bill are proud of him.
In class, Hortense is working on aphrodisiac recipes for the second year. If Thibault wants to eat ingredients like passion fruit, ginger or oysters, Solal is more willing to eat less common foods like cocoa, pink pepper or figs, accompanied by a filet mignon. Hortense allows herself to ensure that she does not force herself to prepare food that she cannot eat, convinced that he has noticed her eating disorders. Solal claims to still enjoy the food. But Hortense really advises him to go at his own pace.
Later, Solal is working on his recipe in the studio while Maya comes over to eat. She cares about what she’s cooking, even if she doesn’t believe for a second that food can be an aphrodisiac. As Solal is convinced, Maya tastes his dish and jokes about it pretending she wants it. When he realizes this, Maya offers to join the singles club he started.
At a downtown cafe, Solal joins Leonard and Malik, who are members of the club, as well as David, who has decided to be a part of it as well. While Maya talks to the man, the group of friends enforces some club rules: no sleeping with each other, no sex, and no attachment. When Maya joins them, she informs them that there is a 90s party in the village. Everyone is ready to go, even Solal.
