Xiaomi, the Chinese mobile phone giant, is now investing in the automotive sector by launching the SU7. The car has a 645 horsepower electric motor and 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds. The maximum speed is 265 km/h.
The SU7 has a range of up to 640 km on a single charge and is equipped with the HyperOS operating system, the same one used in Xiaomi smartphones. The car also features autonomous driving features and advanced connectivity.
Electric vehicle sales in China rose 18% in the first two months, not far from the 21% growth seen in full-year 2023.
The starting price of the SU7 is R$170,000 (in China).
