Under the credits of The Sympathizer, Robert Downey Jr. returns to television in a quadruple role. For Viet Thanh Nguyen’s Pulitzer Prize-winning adaptation, the Oscar-winning actor (Oppenheimer for the film) steps into the shoes of four characters, each representing a different facet of American society.

But this chameleon-like performance also required Robert Downey Jr. to make a token gesture before filming. Therefore, in order to best prepare for the make-up and hair prosthetics required for each role, the American actor did not hesitate to shave his head completely.
The act, which the latter decided to immortalize through social networks, by asking his children to shave their hair. The result was an adorable self-deprecating video in which Robert Downey Jr. doesn’t shy away from painting a Halloween pumpkin on the back of his head.
