The post-credits scene of “Ghostbusters: Ice Apocalypse” presents no information relevant to the future development of the series. In fact, it’s just a fun treat for viewers. However, it has characters that can be further explored in possible sequels.
In the scene, a truck driver stops at a gas station. He then gets out of the vehicle and heads towards a vending machine. However, as the man inserts the coins into the machine, the truck mysteriously drives off in the background.
When the truck moves, it is revealed that the vehicle has the Stay-Puft Marshmallows logo. And this is a reference. Anyone who saw the first “Ghostbusters” will remember the company’s mascot, Stay Puft Marshmallow Man. At the end of the 1984 classic, the interdimensional entity Gozer takes on the mascot’s giant, monstrous form.

Back on site, the man notices that his truck is moving and runs after it. Later, it is revealed that those who hijacked and are piloting the vehicle are the mischievous little Mini-Pufts. In the form of mini Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, these creatures first appeared in the previous film, “Ghostbusters: Beyond” (2021).
