New tells the story of a serial killer, who takes his daughter to watch a show, but discovers that he has fallen into a trap set for him
Warner Bros Pictures released, last Friday (19), the first trailer for Trapnew film by M. Night Shyamalanresponsible for successes such as The sixth Sense (1999), Signals (2002) and, more recently, Knock on the Door (2023).
In the story, a father takes his daughter to a pop singer’s concert. However, upon noticing strange movement in the place, he discovers that, in fact, everything had been set up to capture a serial killer, which is himself. Check out the preview:
The production stars Josh Hartnett (Oppenheimer), Ariel Donoghue (A Wolf Like Me), Hayley Mills (The Wheel of Time), Marnie McPhail (The Dream Man), Vanessa Smythe (The Expanse) and Saleka Shyamalan (Tempo), daughter of the filmmaker.
Written and directed by Shyamalan, Traphits North American theaters on August 1st. Here, the film is scheduled to debut at the same time, but there is still no confirmed release date.
