Second season of the reality show Record TV with Rachel Sheherazade and changes to the rules
On Monday evening (22/4) Record TV kicked off the second season of “A Grande Conquista”. The premiere also marked Rachel Sheherazade’s debut as an entertainment host and introduced new rules: now all participants start in the Village and must distinguish themselves to secure a place in the Mansion and continue in the competition.
Division of houses
Before connecting live with the players, the presenter revealed the division of the villagers into three houses: orange, blue and green.
Ten names were drawn to define the residents of each house. Additionally, participants received surprise cards with unexpected rewards and challenges. One of the cards placed businessman Hadad in the first risk zone. Even the distribution of passports to the houses was full of exchanges of barbs between the chosen staff and those who deposited them in the most crowded place, Casa Laranja.
First try
Five randomly selected villagers were given the opportunity to participate in the first competition of the season. They chose their rivals and competed in a competition that involved throwing a ball under a gate, with the last one through before the gate closed earning points. During the first round, Lizania Gutierrez was angry after losing to May, promising retaliation.
Cacau, Claudinha, Madshow, May and Taty Pink won the initial stage. In the final round Madshow was the first to score, becoming the owner of Casa Verde, the most spacious. Claudinha came second and went to Casa Azul and Cacau completed the podium with Casa Laranja
The three winners obtained special powers, as well as a privileged and comfortable suite. However, they take responsibility for defining tasks, convincing players if they give up, and taking on challenging missions. The first mission was to define who would sleep in each bed in the Village.
Of the 100 conquerors announced, 99 are already residents. One of them is in quarantine after being diagnosed with Covid-9 and will come into play later.
