According to her, the girl is fine, but she has begun to wonder why they operated on her other leg. “They opened my daughter’s left leg, placed an external fixator, then removed it and cleaned the other leg. She slept all night, she woke up this morning without pain, but she asked why her good leg was bandaged. I replied that it was necessary to clean it and put it on the other leg. I will still look for a psychologist to talk to,” her mother said.
This is the second surgery the girl has undergone. The first was carried out at the UFCG University Hospital, but she again presented complications and was diagnosed with thrombosis. After the case, the child’s father, Telesmar Silva, filed a complaint with the police. “I will seek all my rights as a father and I want justice,” the father said.
