Monday, April 29, tomorrow belongs to us…
Charles is in serious condition
After being pressured by a certain Hugh to give him the remaining €20,000, Charles spent the weekend at Jessica’s house. On Monday morning, Hugh calls her because Charles has not fulfilled his obligation. The latter actually requires more time to raise money. But Hugh only gives her 24 hours and threatens to attack Jessica if Charles doesn’t obey him.
At the police station, Damien questions Sarah about the progress of the investigation into the theft of Jessica’s kitten. He confides in her his suspicions about his brother, whose alibi is flimsy and who actually has money problems. Sarah suggests that her colleague test this lead so that she can get to the bottom of it.
In turn, Charles finds his mother at the spoon. He tries in vain to contact Victor. He is in Montpellier for a meeting. As he hangs up, Charles asks the Philippines to lend him €20,000, promising to pay him back as soon as possible. He claims he has an opportunity in Greece. But he’s more suspicious of him getting into trouble, or even embezzling the association’s money. Even if Charles maintains his innocence, Filipina retorts that she has to deal with it alone.
Jessica later joins Charles at the spoon. The latter realizes that Hugh is at the counter and observes them before leaving. Hiding his nervousness, Charles tries to support his girlfriend. At the same time, they called the police. Jessica decides to follow him there.
At the scene, Charles is questioned by Sarah, who highlights the weakness of his alibi. They are watched by Damien and Roxanne from behind a one-way window. Charles then remembers that a friend came to see him before 3pm and that they had a beer together. This is Andrea Stamos, a friend from Greece. Charles sends his contact information to Sarah.
On his way out of the police station, Charles calls Andrea and leaves her a message to warn her of what he did, promising to explain the reasons later. Then he finds Jessica. At the same time, she receives a text from Hugh, reminding her that the clock is ticking…
After dark, Charles breaks into a winery looking for money. As soon as he puts up the tickets, Victor caught him in the act!
