The Netflix miniseries “The Asunta Case” has captured the attention of millions of viewers around the world, who have been immersed in the details of one of the most shocking and controversial crimes in Spain’s recent history.

The story focuses on the case of Asunta Basterra, a 12-year-old girl who was murdered by her own parents, Rosario Porto and Alfonso Basterra, in 2013. The approach stood out as a new possibility for what happened, but did not explain how the girl ended up with signs of asphyxiation.

User @aventurembarazo He created a specific thread stating his theory, where he claims that Basterra was the culprit, because he was the only one “who had something to hide”.

According to his words, the journalist wanted to make Rosario appear as the author of the crime by telling the police and her own ex-partner that she killed her daughter when she was overcome by personality or because of her mental state. it just got out of hand.

In the end he pointed out that Basterra probably showed unconditional support to his wife because he wanted to get her inheritance once she was found guilty, hence his secrecy in not confessing his involvement or blaming Rosario.
