Fast and Furious 11: The release date of the last film of the saga with Vin Diesel has fallen!

The newest adventure of the Toretto family is coming later than expected! Announced for April 2025, Fast & Furious 11 has just been pushed back to 2026.

During the panel at CCXP MX, incl Collider Echoes, directed by Louis Leterrier, is already working on the $7.3 billion Fast franchise.

“This is happening now. It will come very, very soon. I’m going to do a little horror movie this summer. I finish the horror film on September 15th and start work on Fast on September 16th The French filmmaker continues:Filming will take place early next year and the film will be released in 2026, 25 years after the release of the first film..”

The first part of the profitable franchise was released in theaters on September 26, 2001, so Fast & Furious 11 should be released at the end of September 2026. A delightful nod to this successful saga, thrillingly in theaters 25 years later.

When the project was announced, a spinoff centered around a face-off between Luke Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) and Dante Reiss (Momoa) was actually slated to come out before Fast 11 , as it had to make a post-credits tie-in. While waiting to start work on Fast & Furious 11, Louis Leterrier will shoot in the summer of 11817, a science fiction horror film written by Matthew Robinson (The Invention of Lying). The film tells the story of a family of four who find themselves trapped in their house for an indefinite period. As supplies run low, the family must learn to resource themselves in order to survive and outwit whatever is holding them captive. Casting has not been announced yet.
