The Argentine player commented that he feels good at Milan
Inter striker Lautaro Martínez has reassured the fans of the Italian club by ensuring that he wants to renew his contract with the Nerazzurri.
Top scorer of the current edition of the Italian Serie A, with 23 goals, Lautaro declared that he feels good in Milan and that he wants to continue wearing the Inter shirt.
“Since I arrived at Inter everyone has treated me in a special way. They have given me a great hand and I will always be grateful to them for this. Since I started playing I have said that in football you never know what will happen, but I I know it and I’m sure I’ll feel very comfortable at Milan, so I want to renew and I hope this can be done”, commented the Argentine in an interview with “Che Tempo che fa”.
The 26-year-old center forward, at Inter since 2018, is approaching 300 appearances in the Nerazzurri shirt and has already reached the milestone of 128 goals. The 2022 world champion has already won seven titles in Italy, including two Italian Championships.
Compared to the success of 2020/21, Lautaro has taken on a greater role in the current season and has been one of the main pillars of a championship which culminated in Inter’s 20th scudetto.
The top scorer’s contract with Inter expires in 2026 and he has already been linked to a possible move to Barcelona in the next transfer window, according to several Spanish media.
