Tim Allen Revealed He Wanted More Connection Between Lightyear and Toy Story
Tim Allenoriginal voice actor for Buzz Lightyear in the four films of Toy Storyspoke about the controversy over Chris Evans play the character in lightyearspin-off of the animated franchise released in 2022.
“The short answer is: I stayed out of it because it has nothing to do with [com meu Buzz Lightyear],” said the actor during an interview with Extra. “It’s a wonderful story. It just doesn’t seem to have any connection with the toy, and it’s a little… I don’t know. buzz [original]. It’s just unconnected. I wish there was a better closeness.”
Tim Allen also revealed how he was approached for the film years ago: “We’ve talked about it for many years. It came up in one of the sessions. I said, ‘What a fun movie that would be.’ This is an all-new crew that really had nothing to do with the first few movies. Tom Hanks and I. there is really none buzz in Toy Story without woody.”

lightyear: Dubbing Buzz Was ‘Scary,’ Says Chris Evans
Chris Evans admitted difficulty in entering the world of dubbing in an interview with Buzzfeed Celeb (via Screen Rant). Known for several film roles such as captain America at the MCUactor lived protagonist of lightyear – universe movie Toy Story.
