A More Beautiful Life Preview: What’s in store for Thursday 9 May 2024 Episode 89 [SPOILERS]

Nisma’s morale is the lowest

In the Masalia residence, Nisma has a small face. Myrta and Steve ask him what’s wrong and he replies: “I’m so sick”. The reason for this disrespect? The young man made a partial mistake and got 5/20 in the test, which has the highest coefficient. He’s afraid he won’t have a year because of it.

Fortunately, Steve is determined to prove to her that she has all the skills to succeed. He promises to do whatever it takes to make sure she has her year. He arranges to meet in her room in a few minutes.

Nisma is waiting for the young man in her room. When she arrives, Steve explains to her that he’s made a plan so she knows which test to review first. Nisma wraps her arms around him to thank him.

Suddenly Mirta comes to offer dry fruits to Nisma. And for good reason, it’s great for memory retention. Nisma thanks her and takes the opportunity to ask if she has a magic wand to change her grade, and Mirta replies: “I think you have better than that.”He meant Steve.

Jennifer tries to protect her secret

At dawn, Jennifer is still angry at Samuel. And for good reason, she doesn’t appreciate him asking her a series of questions about her past. She apologizes to him and he accepts. He tells her: “It’s a memory I don’t like to talk about.”

Finally, she decides to invent a new lie to protect her secret: she reveals to Samuel that her ex-boyfriend left her overnight while they were in Rwanda. On a whim, he decided to make this message on his back.

After an intimate relationship undercover, Jennifer asks Samuel to tell three little anecdotes about their lives, and only one has to be true. Samuel plays a game and makes him believe that he cheated on the police test, that he slept with a girl while he was in the police, and finally that he knows 100,000 decimal numbers, and finally, he admits that he really slept with the accused during his first year in the brigade.

Later that day, Samuel goes to the doctor’s office to talk to his cousin. She tells him she’s sure Jennifer lied about the meaning of her tattoo again. He asks Gabriel what he thinks and the latter replies: “You’re in love and you’re still inventing an investigation.” Is it true that he is wary of a young woman?

Thomas and Javad make a discovery

Thomas visits Killian in the penitentiary. The latter informs him that he saw Betty last night in front of the police station. At first, Thomas is confused and thinks that his brother is hallucinating from exhaustion. But Killian told him: “I swear she was, she was blonde.”

On the other hand, Ariane and Jean-Paul inform Meilin that there was a computer error on the evening of April 25, and therefore the camera was not working in the city. By questioning his colleagues, the commissioner realizes that they are in opposition in everything. He stops them: “You put your little ego aside and you’re going to focus on finding that body.”

At Mistral, Thomas informs Javad that Killian thought he saw Betty yesterday. Thomas begins to believe that Betty Solano may have staged her own death. The two men decide to talk to the locksmith to find out if the young woman made a duplicate of the Mistral keys before she died. If this is true, it proves that he was the one who hid the knife in the kitchen of the bar-restaurant.

Later that day, Thomas and Javad learned thanks to the locksmith neighbor that Betty had duplicated the keys about two weeks ago. Therefore, this is proof that the young woman created her own death.

Suddenly, they come face to face with a demonstration dedicated to Betty. They see a woman talking. She thanks the participants of the rally for the presence of a young woman who is a victim of femicide.

Thomas knows this person and tells Javad: “This woman is toxic, I can’t believe she’s here, she doesn’t care about Betty.”. This woman is Karine Solano, Betty’s mother. what is he doing here
