The driver of a car fled from the Military Police (PM) after being involved in a road accident, Thursday night (9), on a stretch of the Estrada da Graciosa, in Colombo, in the metropolitan region of Curitiba (PR).
According to the firefighters, the accident occurred around 10.30 pm, in the Jardim Santa Mônica region. The driver was heading towards Serra do Mar when he lost control of the steering on a curve, crossed a guardrail and crashed into the wall of a property.

A B bandFire Sergeant Elieder said the driver confessed to consuming alcoholic beverages before the crash. “We were informed that the victim was inside the vehicle, but when we arrived, he was already outside. He was drunk and completely remorseful. He doesn’t have a license,” he said.
Unharmed, the man – who has not yet been identified – refused to go to hospital and ran into the street before the police arrived, abandoning the car. The car was seized.
Under one of the car seats was an empty vodka bottle.
