Spurs are trying to end a run of four defeats to stay in the qualification zone for the next European competitions
The ball is rolling again in the Premier League. In the fight for a place in the upcoming European competitions, Tottenham will host Burnley this Saturday (11th), at 11am (Brasilia time), in London, for the 37th round. Despite being in the qualifying zone, Spurs are going through a bad patch this season and need to recover to stay top of the table with three rounds left in the competition.
How Tottenham arrive
In fifth place, with 60 points, Tottenham is only counting on its own strength to maintain its place in the table and go to the Europa League. The London club, however, is coming off four consecutive defeats which have taken the team even further away from a place in the Champions League. At the moment the lead of Aston Villa, 4th, is seven points.
Furthermore, manager Ange Postecoglou continues to miss Alfie Whiteman, Ben Davies, Destiny Udogie, Fraser Forster, Manor Solomon and Timo Werner, who are injured.
How Burnley arrives
On the other hand, Burnley are second to last in the Premier League and are close to another relegation to the English championship. The team arrives with 24 points, in 19th place, five less than Nottingham Forest, first out of the relegation zone. It is therefore possible that Burnley, if they lose, will be excluded this Saturday.
