Tapie: Netflix fiction with Laurent Lafitte triumphs over major international series!

After being a huge success on Netflix, the French series Tapie has been nominated by our British neighbors at the prestigious Bafta Television Awards 2024 ceremony. Visit the winner of his category!

“Tap” excelled in Great Britain

Created by Olivier Demangel and Tristan Seguela, the Bear, Acharnés, The Last of Us, Love & Death and Succession… only this!

At X, Netflix obviously welcomed this good news. We can read on the account of the streaming platform: “Congratulations to the mini-series Tapie, which won the best foreign series award at Bafta TV.

In this project we find Comedie-Française resident Laurent Lafitte in the skin of Bernard Tap, the critical public figure at the center of this story. In an interview with AlloCiné promoting Tapie on Netflix, the star revealed that she didn’t want to meet the real hero of the story.

“He was a man with great powers of seduction”

Laurent Lafitte honestly explained:I hadn’t thought about it, but Tristan Seguela asked me a while ago, “Would you be interested if I tried to set up a lunch with Bernard Tapis?”…and actually, I wasn’t sure if it would help my game.

He then explains:I wasn’t sure, especially because I think he was a person who had a seductive power… As a person and a citizen, it would be very interesting for me to meet him.“, claims the actor.

But as an actor, I got the impression that it would not benefit me at all, so I preferred not to try it. I would really like to meet him to talk about the series. That would amuse me!

In any case, a performance praised by our neighbors. Cock-a-doodle Doo!
