It’s a meeting of two radically different worlds, and the result is potentially explosive! Carrie-Anne Moss will join Arnold Schwarzenegger in the second season of Netflix’s spy adventure series Fubar.
Season 2 of Fubar features Luke Brunner, played by Schwarzenegger. Luke is a CIA veteran and was on the verge of retirement until recently. But after his latest mission, which involved rescuing another agent — his daughter Emma (Monica Barbaro, star of Top Gun: Maverick ) — Luke is back to face new villains.
The role of the villain?
Except this villain turns out to be a villain… better yet, he’s an old flame from Luke’s past. And he threatens to destroy the world, provided he doesn’t destroy Luke’s life first.
According to varietyThe Matrix star will play Greta Nelso, a former East German spy who has a passionate affair with Luke. Carrie-Anne Moss joins the Fubar season two cast, which also includes Fortune Feimster, Travis Van Winkle, Jay Baruchel, Aparna Brielle, Andy Buckley, Milan Carter, Fabiana Udenio and Barbara Eve Harris. They all return from last season.
Memorable roles of Carrie-Anne Moss
Known for her memorable role as Trinity in the Matrix franchise, Carrie-Anne Moss returns to the iconic character with Matrix Resurrections, set for release in 2021. He will soon be in the Disney+ series The Acolyte. She plays Indara, a Jedi Master, in the Star Wars series.
In addition to The Sidekick, Moss is also known on the small screen for her role as Jessica Jones and recently appeared in Season 2 of the Paramount+ drama series Tell Me a Story.
Fubar Season 2 isn’t expected to hit screens until late 2024, or even 2025.
