Saque Calamidade is issued to 14 other municipalities in Rio Grande do Sul; see which ones

Fourteen municipalities in Rio Grande do Sul were included as beneficiaries of the Saque Calamidade. Now, workers in 42 cities in Rio Grande do Sul can request withdrawal from the Severance Compensation Fund (FGTS) due to disasters. The release, following the floods, must be carried out via the FGTS Application (more information below) or at bank branches.

According to Caixa, the maximum withdrawal amount is R$6,220 per linked account, limited to the account balance.

*The municipality of Eldorado do Sul continues with the payment of the last disaster levy active until 06/06, referring to the rains of 2023. The new payment, due to the flood of May 2024, has been enabled.
