Who has been sabotaging Kelly since the start of the competition?
It’s semi-final time in Brittany. While Jasmine meets another competitor in another room, Kelly meets Lenglart under the tutelage of Chef DeLobel. The exercise is as follows: each brigade must prepare a dish of their choice, provided that it is two-star. To make the test more difficult, the brigades will have to stop at every sound of the bell; For five minutes, the chefs of the brigade will have the opportunity to comment on the competitor’s recipe.
The exam begins. Kelly goes for a lobster-based recipe, while Lenglart goes for a beef Wellington-style. At the first sound of the bell, Langlart raises the temperature of the oven in which the lobster is being cooked. Kelly slurps half a grapefruit into his opponent’s sauce, which Teyssier finds too light. But Kelly says she knows what she’s doing.
When it starts up again, Kelly adds potatoes to her lobster so it can soak up the burnt taste. As for the Lenglart, it easily makes up for its grapefruit-sweetened sauce.
On the second call, ten minutes into the test, Kelly adds vanilla to Lenglart’s sauce. This time the sauce becomes too sweet and therefore irreparable for the chef of the northern region. Teissier congratulates Kelly on his tactics. For his part, Lenglart adds vinegar to Kelly’s sauce. But Maya and Salome planned in advance to retire.
At the end of the test, DeLabel tastes each dish before deciding between them: Kelly’s Brigade wins the semi-final! He will face Jasmin Brigade in the Coupe de France final. Langlart sarcastically congratulates Kelly on his victory. He takes the opportunity to openly accuse her of drugging her mother and cutting the brakes on Salome’s bike to harm her. But Lenglart claims that he has nothing to do with it.
Jasmine, on the other hand, dreads the Coupe de France final against Kelly. He’s in a bind: either he wins and loses a friend, or he loses and Cardone won’t give him a diploma. Jimmy urges his girlfriend to put her emotions aside to really enter the competition.
Later, Salome joins Lionel and Kelly on the terrace. He tells them about going to the hospital where he spent the night after falling off his bike to get X-rays. There, the nurse told him that his half-brother had come to see him at night. After calling him a tall blonde, Salome immediately thought of Jim. Seeing his photo, the nurse recognized him. Lionel then remembers that the young man was leaving the hotel very early before the second test, which would have given him time to sabotage Salome’s bicycle. The latter makes him suspect that he has been Kelly’s true enemy since the beginning of the competition…
Livio is assigned to investigate
In the swamp room, Carla discusses the fortune cookies with Berenice, who claims to know nothing about them. Livio arrives at the same time. In fact, it was restored by Cardon at the Institute. As a bonus, he will replace Jude at the Double A helm. It is only a fair return for him.
Livio visits Cardone in his office to present his menu ideas. However, the director does not care. What he is interested in is knowing who is behind the fortune cookie scheme. He orders Livio to find out who he is.
At the commissary, Livio offers Tom to be his second in command. Livio then tries to get information from her about the fortune cookies. Tom says he doesn’t know anything about it, but promises to let him know if he finds out.
After realizing that Billy was behind the fortune cookie plan, Tom goes to the dressing room to warn him that Livio and possibly Cardone are trying to track him down. In turn, he promises not to reveal anything. Bill thanks him.
Vicki gets involved in affairs of the heart
Earlier, Vicky goes to the studio to train Chef Armand. Thanks to the encyclopedia of taste associations entrusted to her by Claire Guinot, the young girl found inspiration again. Claire, who comes to see him, confirms that his ideas are very coherent.
Vicki sincerely thanks him for his help. However, she stresses that her investment in work doesn’t always match her life as a couple. He asks Claire for advice on this. He finally admits to her that he broke up with Olivia.
Later, in Listrac’s class, Vicki presents the plate, which receives congratulations from her teacher. The latter also noted recent progress. When Vicky reveals that Claire has been taking her private lessons, which have helped her regain her confidence, Listrac declares that he is very lucky to have her with him.
At the park, Vicky tells Enzo that Guinot and Listrac have broken up, even though they clearly have feelings for each other. So Vicky is going to reconcile them. He takes advantage of a coaching session with Claire to repeat what Olivia said about him. But Claire says there will be no going back when it comes to their relationship.
