Although they each went their separate ways and devoted themselves to other projects, it turns out that the celebrities who played the hobbits, namely Elijah Wood, Sean Astin, Billy Boyd and Dominic Monaghan, are the ones who maintain a unique friendship. since they have been seen together on countless occasions.
Actors enjoy going out for lunch or dinner and catching up on what’s going on in their lives. Additionally, many comic contracts bring them together for work reasons to please fans who grew up with the story of Frodo and the destruction of the One Ring.
For more than 20 years, the four have kept in constant contact. However, at the beginning of May, another actor joined them in a surprising way, namely Orlando Bloom.
The man, now 47, has been cast to play heartthrob Legolas, who joins the Fellowship of the Ring to help destroy the ring and restore peace to Middle-earth. Although in the movies this character has a little interaction with the hobbits, in real life the dynamic is very different.
Actor Dominic Monaghan proved this by posting a series of photos on Instagram with his four other friends, Elijah, Orlando, Billy and Sean. The post quickly went viral as netizens were excited to see how well they were doing and how none of them have changed much since the gray hairs are barely visible in their hair.
Others were impressed by how they managed to maintain their friendship for 23 years and are grateful to share such images, as it transports them back to Middle Earth, where the actors’ adventure began.
The photo in which they posed together in a group picture, as if no time had passed, made fans of the trilogy unable to help but feel nostalgic to see the beloved hobbits reunited with everyone’s favorite elf, reminding them of the magic they created before from more than two decades with ‘The Lord of the Rings’.
