It’s the question every HPI fan has been asking themselves since the series began: Will Morgan (Audrey Fleurot) and Karadek (Mehdi Nebibu) end up together? For almost four seasons, the writers have been playing with the audience’s emotions by creating romantic suspense between its two main characters.
And if the 3rd season almost lived up to expectations, Morgan and Karadek were finally ready to start a new love story, the consultant’s betrayal in the final changed the cards. And unfortunately, in season 4, which is currently airing on TF1, the dialogue between the two colleagues is completely closed.
But Morgan’s pregnancy could change everything between them, as Mehdi Nebu told us in an interview during the Seria Mania festival.

“Knowing who the father is will be crucial“- he explained to our microphone. “This is what will change everything between them. Even if Karade knows, if he is the father, he will take responsibility. But does this mean they will become a couple? Nothing is less certain. It is quite possible that they will raise a child without getting together. Anything is possible, especially with Morgan.”
For Mehdi Nebibo, even if Karadek is very attached to Morgan, she doesn’t see them becoming a permanent couple. “I think as a couple it won’t last long. They are very different. I think that first of all they have a romantic friendship which is very beautiful because it is not very common between women and men. It is a friendship that has no uncertainty.”
Now it remains to be seen if the writers share Mehdi Nebibu’s opinion… One thing is for sure, Morgan’s pregnancy announcement and Karadek’s potential paternity should upset the characters. However, we will have to wait until the second part of HPI season 4 airs next fall to hopefully have an answer to this question.
