Respawn Entertainment is looking for a director with experience in first-person shooters to work on the project
Respawn Entertainment, developer of Titanfall, Apex Legends and Star Wars Jedi, revealed it is working on an unannounced new game, saying it is looking for a director with “significant professional experience designing multiplayer first-person shooter experiences”.
A job offer (through Eurogamer) is described as “a rare leadership opportunity to guide the design of a new incubation project in its early stages”which means this game is still in pre-production, meaning it could be years before we see anything concrete.
Will it be a new Titanfall? We have no way of knowing at the moment, but fans of the franchise always hope that, one day, the third game in the series will be announced. The situation came to a head earlier this year, when rumors emerged of the production of a new game set in the Titanfall universe, but which presumably will not be Titanfall 3.
Another rumor about Respawn, spread some time ago, was about a crossover between Apex Legends and Titanfall, called Titanfall Legends, which would be a single-player experience with characters from both franchises, but which was canceled at the beginning of last year, as reported. Bloomberg.
