Iza’s boyfriend, midfielder Yuri Lima, shared some details about his relationship with the singer. In an interview with “GQ Esporte”, the Mirassol player spoke about his first contacts with the artist. The 29-year-old athlete also played at home with the club’s fans.
Yuri Lima began his career at Audax-SP, in 2015, under the guidance of coach Fernando Diniz, towards whom he revealed he has “a lot of gratitude”. The player also said he supported Fluminense in the 2023 Libertadores final, which led to a “fight” at home.
– I cheered like crazy (for Fluminense) throughout the Libertadores. And it’s war at home… She’s crazy about Vasco – joked Yuri, who is expecting a daughter, Nala, from the singer.
After starting at Audax-SP, Yuri Lima also played for Audax-RJ, Santos, Fluminense, Cuiabá and Juventude. The midfielder said he sent the singer a message in 2018, but that the two only started speaking years later.
– I sent her a message on Instagram. I actually texted her in 2018, but she got married. Much later I saw the news that she had separated. Then I thought, “I’ll try my luck.” I messaged again and the conversation continued. Holy Instagram (laughs), it was the only way. As I said, I am very simple – said Yuri.
