Attention fans of the “Knives Out” franchise, Benoit Blanc is back in action soon! The Hercule Poirot-style detective, played by Daniel Craig, is back for a new investigation in the third film, after Knives and Glass Onions.
If the first part was released in cinemas and was a great success, its sequel The Glass Onion, which was released on Netflix in 2022, was a real hit, to the point that it was among them. 10 most watched English language movies on the platform.
It’s no surprise that the American giant is giving Rian Johnson another sequel that will go into production very soon. The director also revealed the official title of the third installment – Wake Up Dead Man – and the first teaser on the networks, which announces a completely different tone from the first two films.

What casting for ‘Knives Out 3’?
If we are to expect a darker installment with Wake Up Dead Man, we can also count on a dream cast like the first two films. And the disclosure of information is already beginning, because two names have been named Deadline !
Along with Daniel Craig, we find two young talents in full blast, namely Josh O’Connor (The Crown, Challengers, La Chimera) and Kailey Spahn (Priscilla, Civil War, Alien: Romulus).
We do not yet know what roles they have been selected for, nor the plot of the third film. Lindsay Lohan and Tom Hardy are rumored to star in Wake Up Dead Man, but we’ll have to wait for official confirmation.
Wake Up Dead Man begins production next month and we can expect it to hit Netflix sometime in 2025.
