Film directed by Yorgos Lanthimos was shown for the first time during the Cannes Film Festival
Following the success of Poor Creatures, Yorgos Lanthimos directed and co-directed Types of Kindnessalso starring Emma Stone. The film had its first screening this month, during the Cannes International Film Festivaland received a new trailer this Wednesday, the 29th. Check it out:
Types of Kindness is an anthological fable that follows a man without choice who tries to take control of his own life; a police officer alarmed that his wife, who had disappeared at sea, had returned and looked like someone else; and a woman determined to find a specific person with a special ability, destined to become a powerful spiritual leader.
The cast of the feature film also includes Jesse Plemons, Willem Dafoe, Margaret Qualley, Hong Chau, Joe Alwyn, Mamoudou Athie It is Hunter Schafer. The production hits Brazilian cinemas in 2024, but has no confirmed release date. Watch the first trailer below:
