As in 2023, the event was attended by many families with children and pets. People of different ages, ethnicities, genders and sexual orientations took advantage of the Fair to meet and socialize.

This was the second edition held at the Memorial da América Latina, located in Barra Funda, west of the capital São Paulo. The facility received praise from those who attended the cultural event, like the psychologist Samara Serena da Silva Martins. “Having the subway next door and having a larger space was good,” she said.

At the Fair there were stands with guidelines for the prevention of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and distribution of information leaflets. Condoms and lubricants were also distributed, a traditional action for this type of event.

This year, a novelty attracted the public’s attention: the launch of an automatic machine for taking PrEP and PEP vials (pre- and post-exposure prophylaxis to the HIV virus). “It is important to show people that it is possible to easily access prevention in the city”says Adriano Queiroz da Silva, coordinator of the prevention sector of the STI/AIDS coordinator in Sao Paulo.

At the event there were also stands with no direct connection to the LGBTQIA+ community and which were highlighted by the public present. Many people were moved, for example, to see the puppies up for adoption in the facility set up by the initiative Ghetto animals. Other participants took advantage of this Mystical bazaar to consult you about your future.
