Tomorrow is ours: this character that everyone forgot will return to the series!

Warning, this article contains spoilers for upcoming episodes of Tomorrow. If you don’t want to know anything, don’t read!

There are twists and turns Tomorrow Belongs to Us fans have been looking forward to, like Sofia (Emma Smith) who just returned from London, or Anna-Marie Lazare (Véronique Giannott) who will return this summer as part of A large plot centered on Victory and Samuel.

And there are others that no one saw coming. Like this character who will reappear in the TF1 series in a few days… and who everyone forgot about!

In A new clip from Tomorrow Belongs to Us has been released with a preview Through the channel, Sofia joins her secret lover at the bus station. Indeed, the young woman broke up with Hadrien (Anthony Collette) a few months ago and soon found love… in the arms of Romain Maréchal (Charles Crehange), with whom she had a very difficult short-lived idyll last year!

Introduced in the series in April 2021, Romain was called Quentin at the time. Sophia saved him from drowning after a suspected suicide attempt and quickly brought him back to her and her family.

But what he didn’t know was that Romain was an accomplice of a couple, Hélène and Pascal Beaulieu, who were trying to take possession of Daniel’s apartment in order to exact a terrible revenge against the prosecutor Mefre (Charles Lelory). Bowlius accepted responsibility for their son’s death.

Although betrayed by Romain, Sophia was clearly attached to the young man she fell in love with and visited in prison. Before she broke up with him and fell in love with Adrian a few months later.

But the episode, which airs on TF1 on Friday, reveals that Sofia reconnected with Romain while he was still in prison and that they met in London after the young offender had served his sentence.

That’s why Romain is the big secret that Emma Smith’s character has been keeping from her parents since returning to the set. And the union between the downers and their flatmate promises to be explosive.

“I’m so glad you’re here”, sends Sofia to her boyfriend, who has just arrived from London, in an extract published online by TF1. But Romain, while excited about his discovery, seems a little less enthusiastic. “It makes me so weird to be back here on the set. It reminds me of a time in my life when I hurt everyone. You, your family, until I ended up in prison.”.

But for Sofia, all this is in the past. “You’re not the same person anymore. And then you’re free!”. The two lovebirds also have no shortage of future projects, as however this excerpt of Tomorrow belongs to us, they plan to leave France for a new start, both of them.

“I’m looking forward to starting our new life in Spain”admits Romain, who seems more in love with Sofia. “I just hope your family gets it”. Sofia has not yet discussed this with her parents. And, knowing William and Avore, everything suggests that they will not welcome the news well.

So how will they react when they come face to face with the man who made their lives hell a year ago? And will Sofia really leave Sette to live in Spain? In any case, this would explain Emma Smith’s recent statements teasing her impending departure from the series and the “future” of her character, which we’ll find on air in a few weeks.
