Anyone who missed “Peaky Blinders” after the sixth and final season can rest assured. The creators had already indicated that the plot would end up in a film, but Netflix had not commented on the matter.
This Tuesday (4), however, the streaming platform broke the silence and confirmed: the feature film of the series is in development and will see the return of a major actor.

The sixth and final season of “Peaky Blinders” officially ended in 2022. Steven Knight, creator of the series, had confirmed that the end, in reality, was not the end: a film would conclude once and for all the story started by production.
Until now, Netflix had not commented on the information. The confirmation, however, came in a publication on X (formerly Twitter), with a special message from the actor Cillian Murphy, known as Tommy Shelby:
Looks like Tommy Shelby isn’t done with me yet… It’s very rewarding to team up with Steven Knight and Tom Harper again on the film version of Peaky Blinders. This is for the fans.

The film also marks the return of Knight (creator who had already confirmed the film before Netflix) and director Tom Harper in the “Peaky Blinders” universe.
And the release date?
Netflix has not revealed a release date for the film. According to Knight, filming is expected to begin this year.
