Is Charlene going to commit suicide?
After Tom took responsibility for Billy’s release, Charlene hadn’t eaten or spoken to her all evening. Constance even heard him crying in her room at night. She also criticizes her husband for not talking to their daughter when she is depressed. Suddenly, Berenia informs them that Charlene is no longer in her room and that she left a goodbye note there. Worried parents go to look for him.
At the seminar, Clotilde tells Billy that she does not agree with Cardone’s decision to dismiss her from the institute. He plans to side with Rose to confront her. But Billy thinks it’s better if he goes: otherwise, Cardone would harass him constantly. Bill joins his work plan with Berenice and Jim. Worried about Charlene, Berenia reveals her disappearance to her comrades. The three students then ask permission from Clotilda to leave the classroom to help find her. The boss gives them.
In the park, Clotilda talks with Anais about Charlene’s disappearance. He is in contact with Martha, who helps them remotely. Cardon and Claire join in the conversation. If the director thinks there is no cause for concern, Clotilde replies that they don’t care what she thinks. Each of them is actively helping to find Charlene.
On the other hand, Emmanuel and Constance leave the police station, where the police were informed about Charlene’s disappearance. Having looked at all the places where their daughter usually goes, now they have no idea. Constance imagines the worst. Teissier then searches through Charlene’s recipe notebook and comes across pages devoted to her Camargue-inspired desserts. He remembers the place he took her when they moved into the region: it’s Calviera Tower!
Indeed, Charlene is at the top of the tower. Crying, she records a voice message in which she admits that she set fire to Bluepress on Cardone’s orders. He then expresses his desire to stop everything. After recording the message, the young woman approaches the tower rampart.
As she climbs the railing, ready to throw herself into the void, Teissier and Constance arrive to stop her. Exhausted, Charlene feels guilty for ruining her father’s dream. Despite his mother’s gentle words, he humiliates himself. Teissier slowly approaches his daughter and admits that he is very proud of her, even if he doesn’t tell her often. He encourages her to return home, where she will cook for him the things she loved when she was little. Charlene realizes that her father remembers what inspired him for dessert. Touched, he accepts her outstretched hand, then finds refuge in the arms of his parents.
The competition between David and Vic began
David and Vicki both arrive early for Alice Wisberg’s baking class. Two students competing to be valedictorian can’t help but attack each other. The chef asks them to prepare a lemongrass-mango dessert following the technical sheet.
At the end of the lesson, Alice announces that David and Vic have made a nearly flawless dessert. Two students ask the teacher to decide between them, but the verdict is clear: they are tied.
Later, Vicki and David meet again in gym class. Gaitan asks the students to do the plank for a maximum of two minutes. The competition is so strong between Vic and David that neither refuses to give in to the other. Finally, after five minutes, they let go at the same time.
Impressed, Gaitan emphasizes that they will become good teammates who will help each other improve. Vicki and David decide to meet the next day after school.
Laetitia and Stanislas kiss
At Double A, while Kelly is talking to Stanislas, Zachary arrives. Enraged, he punches the butler and accuses him of having an affair with Laetitia. When Stanislas denies this, Zachary claims that he told him everything. Kelly intervenes to separate the two men, then defends her mother before demanding that Zachary leave.
Informed of the situation, Laetitia goes to Double A with a first aid kit. Stanislaus wants to know why Laetitia cheated on her ex. She explains that she just wanted revenge and it seemed more believable that Stanislaus was her lover. Laetitia also admits that she abstained at the time out of respect for Zacharias, while she led a double life. At the same time, Kelly interrupts them to change Stanislas’ coat.
Later, Alice and Hortense inform Stanislas that Laetitia left him a gift package behind the counter. Inside, the butler finds his identical jacket, brand new, accompanied by an apologetic note.
Stanislaus waits for Laetitia in front of her house to thank her. Finally, they both admit that they like each other, then they kiss passionately.
