The Criminal Minds series had to say goodbye at the end of the fifteenth season, and finally… not at all. Two years later, CBS announced a sequel under a different title, Criminal Minds: Evolution, with many of the stars of the 15th season. Only Matthew Gray Gubler and Daniel Haney were missing.
This new chapter, which fans will consider the 16th season and will be broadcast on TF1 in January 2024, is part of the continuity of the original series. It follows the team in pursuit of a network of serial killers during a dangerous time: the COVID lockdown.
Joy for fans of the program: according to variety, the Criminal Minds: Evolution series has already been renewed for a third season – season 18, still ahead of the release of season 2, which is expected this June 6 on the Paramount+ platform in the United States. It is enough to confirm to those who doubted the influence of the brand.
For the French, we’ll have to wait until Season 2 of Evolution comes out. The new series is currently unavailable on Paramount+. It will be broadcast on TF1 soon. The first fifteen seasons are still available on the streaming platform.
Criminal Minds: Evolution, coming soon to TF1.
