It’s time to say goodbye to Netflix: This sci-fi series is returning for a third season, which will be its last

Three short seasons and then it was gone. Netflix releases the final season of Sweet Tooth online on June 6, which concludes the plot of Gus (Christian Convery) and his band of hybrids being hunted by humans. The latest burst of episodes (8 in total) sees the characters navigate uncharted and dangerous lands.

The hero of Sweet Tooth indeed embarked on an unprecedented journey to find his mother after defeating the general. On the other side of the country, Bird works to uncover the mysterious origin of a deadly disease.

Along the way, Gus, Jepperd, Becky and Wendy are joined by Dr. Singh, who seems to think that Gus has a role to play in the fight against the virus. Meanwhile, a new threat emerges in the form of Helen Zhang, her daughter Rosie, and the dire wolf boys, who are trying to restart the human birth and see Gus as the solution to their plans.

Navigating the treacherous terrain, Gus and his group of friends find refuge in an Alaskan outpost where they meet a new cast of characters, including Sianna and her hybrid daughter Nuka. But as time runs out for answers, alliances are tested, and fates collide, all leading up to a thrilling climax that will determine the fate of humanity and the hybrids.

Season 3 is full of perils

The Sweet Tooth Season 3 trailer set the tone: There will be tears, lots of tears in these final episodes. The writers who adapted Jeff Lemire’s comics here are not going to spare the fans, and some characters may lose their lives…

But what viewers especially look forward to at the end of the series is knowing that humans and hybrids will finally manage to live in peace… but until then, who will live and who will die? The answers are waiting for you on Netflix!
