Every summer on the M6, the household scenes take a well-deserved holiday and usually give way to En Famille from late June or early July. But that’s not the case this year as the channel decided to kick off the summer season with a new series last night: Like Children.
Airing from Monday to Friday at 20:30 on M6, Comme des gosses, adapted from the Dutch format, immerses us in the daily life of a primary school amid the chaotic and joyful coexistence between teachers and students’ parents.
Because between a clumsy and misguided principal, an “old school” teacher, and parents who are willing to do anything to get noticed, Paul Pedral’s school is a giant playground where the kids are the ones who end up enjoying the show.
Made by Julien Pestel (Les Vedettes), Antonia de Rendinger, Dowley, Kevin Raz, Stéphane Craincourt (Faut pas lui dire) or even François-David Cardonelli (Clem), this new short program currently includes 300 sketches (or episodes) of three minutes each more. And thus it should remain on the antenna for six weeks.
And in the family in all this? Fear not, the 11th season of Le Kervelec’s adventures is coming to you this summer on the M6. You’ll just need to arm yourself with a little patience, because this new burst of episodes won’t air a priori until August. The time when the entire first season of Comme des kids was aired by six.
“We were deprogrammed (laughs)”A few weeks ago, during the Monte-Carlo TV Festival, Jean Savary, Marjorie’s translator, told us with humor, while her colleague Olivier Mag (Jean-Pierre) explains the situation more precisely.
“M6 decided to compete with us with a new series called Comme des gosses. They wanted to launch a new format and break out of the usual pattern. But we’ll still be on the air this summer. En Famille will return in August”.
And while no official date has yet been announced by the channel, the 11th season of En Famille, which will allow the series to celebrate its 10th anniversary, will not be missed if Olivier Mag’s announcements are to be believed. “We can already make fun of the big things: Marjorie and Jean-Pierre are going to be a little nasty (laughs)”.
A rather unexpected development on the M6 was discovered in the second half of the summer.
