The sun rises on a special day in the African savannah. Elephants, antelopes, cheetahs and rhinos gather around the Royal Lion Rock to witness Simba, ruler Mufasa’s newborn son, follow in his father’s footsteps.
The only one absent from this grand ceremony, Scar, the king’s brother, looks at the situation with a particularly hostile eye, the one who fully intended to ascend the throne after Mufasa. As the years pass and young Simba grows up surrounded by his friend Nala, Scar makes sinister plans in the shadows to seize power.
