Doom: The Dark Ages was officially revealed at the Xbox Showcase

The new game in the series brings Doomslayer to a medieval reality, but with a lot of metal, demons and the hero’s origins

A Microsoft revealed the next chapter in the Doom franchise during the Xbox Showcase. Called Doom: The Dark Agesthe game looks to the past, going back to the origins of the Doomslayer in medieval times.

With a trailer that shows all the fast-paced action typical of the series, but showing equipment and weapons typical of the dark times of the past. In addition to revealing the game’s existence, Microsoft and Bethesda confirmed that the game will release on day one on Xbox Game Pass, for PC and Xbox Series S/X and also for PlayStation 5extending its release strategy to other consoles.

Doom: The Dark Ages, will show the origins of this dynamic between Doomslayer and the gods, presenting the secrets behind the ancient struggle between good and evil. All this with a lot of violence, crushing, gunshots and metal!
