The Brazilian remained in the top 20 of women’s table tennis
In the new WTA ranking of women’s tennis, the Association of Professional Tennis Players, Bia Haddad Maia confirmed her fall this Monday. She did not defend the semifinal of last year’s tournament and fell on her debut.
Bia dropped to 2213 points and dropped six places to 20th place, remaining more than 1,500 points behind the top ten group it occupied at the same time last year. She preceded the 21st ranked, Ukrainian Elina Svitolina, by just over 100.
Among the Brazilians, Laura Pigossi is fourth, passing the qualification at Roland Garros and reaching the semi-final at the W75 in Caserta.
